INSIGHT PRODUCTIONS AND THE COMEDY BAR PRESENT “PILOT WEEK”
THE ULTIMATE OPPORTUNITY FOR CANADA'S RISING TELEVISION COMEDY STARS
Eligible Entrants will have a chance to win $1,000 and be offered a development deal with Insight Productions, the company behind such original TV comedies as The Jon Dore Television Show, Hatching, Matching & Dispatching and The Sean Cullen Show.
If you have an original idea for a half-hour television comedy pilot, send us your pitch. Get creative. We're open to single-camera, traditional sitcom, game show, reality, whatever - as long as it's funny!
Simply summarize your pilot idea (maximum 250 words) and enter online at www.comedybar.ca/pilotweek.php. Then get ready to put on your show live!
The Top 21 Eligible Entrants will be selected to present their pilot live in front of an audience at the Comedy Bar during Pilot Week (August 2nd to August 8th, 2010). The Best Pilot of the Week as selected by Insight Productions will win $1,000 and be offered a development deal with Insight!
There will be live performances each night at the Comedy Bar during Pilot Week - 8pm, 9pm and 10pm. If your pilot is selected by Insight Productions as one of the Top 21 Eligible Entrants, your live pilot presentation will need to be approximately 25-30 minutes in length. This is your chance to really show us what you've got!
